Chemical Peels
Our Cosmedix metabolic chemical peels are an important part of skin health and play an essential role in the maintenance of your skin. These peels are easily metabolized by the skin resulting in better delivery into the skin, and thus avoids wounding, downtime, and excessive peeling like with traditional peels. The goal is to reformulate the skin’s barrier to enhance the overall rejuvenation, health, and strength of the skin.
Using our peels, we are able to target a variety of skin conditions and maintain healthy skin. Each peel treatment is fully customizable to the client’s needs and tolerance.
Pre-treatment of the skin may be required depending on the level of peel for 10-14 days prior to the peel to prepare the skin for more comfortable downtime and safe results, as some of the peels include high doses of Retinol.
Cosmedix offers two game-changing technologies that allow for strong, effective products to be delivered into the skin without the harsh side effects:
- AGP Retinol Complex – a specialized delivery system the enables high doses of Retinol without inflammation by converting to trans-retinoic acid once absorbed into the skin.
- LG-Retinex – a powerful, yet gentle, blend of Retinol and Retinal in an intelligent lipid encapsulation that helps to neutralize Retinol’s trademark irritation without compromising its performance.
